It was interesting to me that both sides played to a theme of an influential dark bishop, and how that theme influenced decisions at vital points of the game. The concentration of firepower on just one side of the board, the queenside, was pretty noteworthily rare too. And the main highlight should have been the relatively complex looking middle game. That was the reason that motivated me to post this game at that point in time, regardless of the outcome. In the end, the unusual endgame position saved me from a long drawn attrition. And the fruit of the struggle was a game that has quite a few interesting points to think about.
